| Fluorescent Mounting Medium Catalog #: 4866-20 Size: 20 ml Description: Trevigen Fluorescent Mounting Medium is specially designed the preservation of tissues labeled using the TACSTM In Situ Apoptosis Detection Kits with fluorescein as the detection method. The aqueous mounting medium hardens completely in a short time, preserving the sample and providing an airtight seal under the glass coverslip. Physical State: Aqueous, non-glycerol-based. Storage: Store at 4oC. Directions: 1. Bring mounting medium to room temperature. 2. Twist cap to open Fluorescent Mounting Medium. 3. Rinse labeled or stained tissues with distilled water, and remove excess water from slide.
4. Place slide on a level surface, and add 3-4 drops Fluorescent Mounting Medium to tissue section.
5. Gently apply the coverslip from one edge of the slide and lower to the other to avoid air bubbles, and incubate for 5 minutes at room temperature. Slides can now be viewed. 6. Twist cap tightly to seal bottle and prevent evaporation. Return to 4oC. 7. Seal the edges of the coverslip using Trevigen Mounting Medium, catalog # 4865-25 for long term storage.
8. Store slides in the dark.
